The Fellowship is an independent Artist Management company started in 2025 by Blaze James, veteran artist manager from Los Angeles. Blaze’s management journey started when he discovered the band, At the Drive-in in a small bar in Los Angeles in 1994, booked their early tours and managed them through their ascension until their untimely demise in 2001. In those early years, Black Sheep Fellowship was his company while he oversaw the careers of Sparta, The Murder City Devils, TSOL and most notably, Coheed and Cambria, where they began what has become a 23-year relationship that is stronger than ever today. Through the years, while raising a family, Blaze embraced his desire to collaborate, and brought his roster to other Artist Management companies such as The MGMT Co, Velvet Hammer and most recently spent 10 years overseeing “The Rock Dept.” at Roc Nation. in that time managing artists like Korn, Rival Sons, Basement and others, generating 3 Grammy nominations and several top 5 singles, including a #1. Feeling it was time to return his independent roots, Blaze left corporate management and thus, The Fellowship was born. Where DIY ethics and 30 years of major experience intersect, The Fellowship aims to be a home to like-minded managers, artists, creators and more. Our current roster speaks for itself, from the most exciting young bands to deeply respected career artists, and we’re just getting started.
